2011 was Deadly so ...LOOK OUT 2012

As we all wind up for this year, Congress looks back on twelve months of some real achievements and looks ahead to the work we still need to do.

Directors hit the ground running from July, representing and continuing to promote Congress at community meetings, conferences and forums. The last Board meeting was in Adelaide in early December. A communique will be posted soon on the National Board page of our website.

We've kept Members up to date with the latest news through enews, our website, Facebook, Twitter and our own Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander media.

In 2012 you will continue to get the chance to have your say by commenting and putting your views forward on our work.

Congress is hosting a two-day forum exploring the issues of self-determination and sovereignty which have always been central to the Aboriginal Tent Embassy’s platform and have been the basis of black politics in Australia.
